Toni Riera has worked in the fields of advertising and fashion. He has also made photographic reports all over the world.
He got his first inspiration stroke while, some French people were filming “More” in Ibiza, a film about the incipient hippie movement, free love and drugs, a cocktail evidently prohibited at the time in Spain and in many other countries, that were scandalized by the lifestyle, sexual freedom and nudity.
Toni Riera has become the emblematic photographer of Ibiza. The famous cherries of the Pachá nightclub are a symbol in the work of this photographer, who implements them and includes them in many of his shots, making them icons of the island.
